This year, the event expands beyond cycling by introducing a run category to welcome the friends and families of the cycling community — especially those who may not own a bike but share the same passion for an active lifestyle through running. This evolution into a BIKE + RUN event creates a more inclusive experience that brings together wider communities united by health, wellness, and movement.

Ultimately, Sun Life aims to advocate cycling and running as part of a healthy, active, and sustainable lifestyle — encouraging communities to embrace fitness, wellness, and alternative ways of moving around the city.
